Organization: Porthmadog Older People's Club

Description:

The Club meets regularly twice a month, with either Guest Speakers or the members enjoying a game of Bingo. We also arrange two Coach Trips for them each year, and they enjoy a meal out at Christmas time. The Club is a lifeline for some of our members who are between eighty and ninety and who live alone and who enjoy some company and an afternoon out of the house. Meetings are held in Hafod y Gest every fortnight now and membership is rising regularly.

In order to confirm the future of the Charity/Club, we need enthusiastic and knowledgeable Trustees.

It follows that many more Trustees need to be appointed urgently to ensure that the Club can continue to meet the needs of the Elderly in Porthmadog.

Those who have an interest, information, or background in charities, and are residents of the town and district, are asked to get in touch as soon as possible for further information.
